Power supplies are devices or hardware that convert or transform electrical input into electrical output. A power supply can be located both internally and externally depending on the need and application. They may be used to change an AC input voltage to DC output voltage, a DC input voltage to a different DC output voltage, or an AC input voltage to a different AC output voltage.
